PixPurge ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at https://pixpurge.com/ (the "Service"), an AI tool that removes text and watermarks from images using AI. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Service, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information. When you create an account or sign in, we collect your email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive the basic profile information you choose to share (such as your name, email address, and profile picture).
• Images and prompts. When you use the text remover, we process the images you upload along with any text prompt you provide, and we generate the cleaned result.
• Usage information. We may collect technical data such as the pages you visit, the number of images you process, your daily quota usage, browser type, device type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. This helps us operate and improve the Service.
• Communication data. If you contact us, we keep a record of your message and our reply so we can assist you.

We do not collect payment card numbers — payments, where available, are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Image Processing

To remove text from an image, we transmit the image you upload — together with your prompt — to our servers and to third-party AI model providers that perform the processing. These providers process the image solely to generate the result you requested and are contractually required to protect it. We do not use your images for purposes other than providing the Service, and we do not share them with advertisers.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

The Service does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your sign-in token and basic user profile are stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage) so you remain signed in between visits. You can clear this data at any time from your browser settings; the Service will simply treat you as signed out until you sign in again.

5. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted third-party providers to run parts of the Service, including:

• Google — for sign-in with your Google account (Google Identity Services).
• AI model providers — cloud-based AI services that process your images to perform text removal.
• Hosting, infrastructure, and CDN providers — to serve the website and deliver images to you.
• Email providers — to send essential account communications. We do not send marketing emails without your consent.

Each provider processes personal data only on our behalf and only to the extent needed to deliver the Service. Links to third-party websites on the Service are governed by their own privacy policies.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active, and we store your processed results so you can view and download them from your account. You may delete individual creations from your account at any time. If you want your account and all associated data permanently deleted, contact us at support@pixpurge.com and we will process your request within a reasonable time, subject to legal retention obligations (for example, records we must keep for tax or fraud-prevention purposes).

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to object to or restrict certain processing. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion. To exercise any of these rights, email support@pixpurge.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law and will never discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required by your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We protect data in transit using HTTPS encryption and apply industry-standard measures to safeguard the information we store. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live, including by our hosting and AI service providers. Where required, we rely on recognized safeguards to protect your information when it is transferred across borders.
