Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PixPurge, the AI tool that removes text and watermarks from images, available at https://pixpurge.com/ (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

PixPurge lets you upload an image and use AI to remove text, captions, watermarks, and date stamps from it. Every new account starts with free monthly credits, and additional usage is available through one-time credit packs or monthly and annual plans. We may add, change, or remove features at any time, and we may adjust the daily quota — for example, to prevent abuse or to cover operational costs.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use the Service. Using the Service requires a free account, which you can create with an email address or by signing in with Google. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your sign-in credentials secure, and to accept responsibility for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Process images you do not have the right to use or that contain unlawful, infringing, or harmful content;
• Process images that contain adult, sexual, pornographic, sexually explicit, or other NSFW content — including material of a sexual nature or intended for sexual gratification;
• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or the rights of others (including privacy, publicity, and intellectual property rights);
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service, its servers, or its underlying AI models;
• Automate access through scraping, bots, or other means that exceed normal human use, or create multiple accounts to bypass quota limits;
• Upload malicious code or files, or use the Service to distribute malware.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this section, with or without notice.

4. Your Content

You keep all rights to the images you upload and the results we generate for you. To provide the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process and store your images and prompts, and to transmit them to the third-party AI providers that perform the processing. You represent that you own or control the necessary rights to the images you submit.

5. Intellectual Property

PixPurge, its name, logo, website design, and software are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service. You may not copy, resell, or create derivative works from the Service without our written permission.

6. AI Output Disclaimer

The Service uses AI models that are not perfect. Results may contain errors, artifacts, or unexpected changes to your image. You are solely responsible for reviewing and using any output, including verifying that a result meets your needs and that its use is lawful. The Service is not intended for use where accuracy is critical, such as forensic or evidentiary purposes.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your expectations.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 50. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, even if advised of the possibility. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we believe your use poses a risk to the Service or others, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 5 through 9 and 12 — will continue to apply.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
